PRINCE2 7 Foundation Without the Fog

The Plain English Study Guide 2026 — Complete PeopleCert Syllabus, 346 Practice Questions, Two Full Mock Exams

A self-contained course for the PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam — no training provider, no project management background, no wrestling with the official manual. Every concept is anchored to one running example: Sarah and Michael Wright, building a house, from first conversation to benefits review.

  • ✓346 distinct practice questions — not one repeated: 126 chapter checkpoints, a 100-question practice exam organized by chapter and by syllabus area, and two full mock exams
  • ✓Two complete 60-question mock exams, weighted exactly as the real paper, with every answer explained — including why the other three options are wrong
  • ✓Fourteen quick-reference cards for the last week before the exam
  • ✓A 194-term glossary in plain language, not syllabus language
  • ✓A real exam chapter: registration, cost, online proctoring versus test centre, the four question formats, three study plans, and the traps that catch people
  • ✓Written for version 7, not retrofitted from version 6 — covers the integrated People element, sustainability as the seventh performance target, and practices (not themes)

A one-page summary of what to review before exam day, pulled straight from the book.

What's covered

  • The five integrated elements
  • The seven principles
  • The seven practices
  • The seven processes
  • Project roles and management products
  • What changed between PRINCE2 6 and PRINCE2 7
  • The exam itself

No wall of bullet points, no syllabus paraphrased back at you. You watch a mandate become a project brief, the brief become a PID, a stage boundary turn into an exception when lumber prices spike, and a change request for a skylight get decided by a board that has to find the money somewhere. PRINCE2 isn’t built for a special kind of project — it’s built for yours.

Who it's for

  • •Anyone sitting PRINCE2 7 Foundation and starting from zero
  • •PRINCE2 6 holders who need to know what actually changed
  • •Project managers, PMO staff and team leads who have to work inside a PRINCE2 shop

Questions people ask before buying

How many questions is the PRINCE2 7 Foundation exam?
Sixty multiple-choice questions in sixty minutes, closed book. You need 36 to pass.
Is the pass mark still 55%?
No — it rose to 60% in version 7, and a lot of study material still quotes the old figure. Chapter 9 covers the current format in full.
What changed between PRINCE2 6 and PRINCE2 7?
People became a standalone element, sustainability became the seventh performance target, themes were renamed and reorganized as practices, and the project environment became project context. Appendix A compares the two versions.
Do I need PRINCE2 Agile?
Not for this exam. PRINCE2 7 is delivery-agnostic, and Chapter 10 explains where Agile fits and when the separate certification is worth it.
